The Time Has Come For Me To Issue A Bodyweight Workout Video Challenge!

gladiator body workout1 300x207 The Bodyweight Workout Video Challenge!I had an idea this week that I hope will turn into a fun experience for everyone who participates.  I create and put up a lot of bodyweight workouts on this blog, talk about bodyweight training and quick and easy ways to get fit and the time has come for me to reverse roles.  If you frequent this blog you know I like to create workouts and test other workouts that have been created.  With that said, I am issuing a challenge with a prize to the winner.  What is the challenge exactly?  Keep reading to find out how you can take part in this awesome bodyweight workout video challenge!

Here Is The Bodyweight Workout Video Challenge:

The challenge is simple.  From today 9/7/2011 to 9/30/2011 the challenge will be open.  The winner will be nominated the first week in October.  Here are the details:

  1. Create a video of a 10 minute Bodyweight workout routine.
  2. No weights can be used, only your bodyweight
  3. Make it as intense and fun as possible
  4. The video must show you do the entire workout in real time, not just demonstrations of the moves
  5. Send the video to me via the contact form on this blog.  I will post the video after I screen it for others to vote on.

How to Win:

Pretty straight forward here, get the most votes via comments as well as from me and you win.

What Is The Prize?

The prize is a free copy of Bodyweight Blast X, a $47 value.  If you have already purchased Bodyweight Blast X an alternative prize will be awarded that I cannot name yet, but it is of equal or greater value and is well worth it.

Final Mentions

The challenge is live as of this post.  Grab a video camera or web cam and record your bodyweight workout and send it on over.  This is going to be fun, and I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!  I will do my best to try every workout that comes in.  My goal is to get at least 15 video submissions.

    Question: I am assuming you can use bars for pullups/chinups and a smith machine bar for inverted rows? You are still using your bodyweight only. Just checking cause I want to send this in and win!

      You are dead on. Pull ups bars and a smith machine for inverted rows works great. Can’t wait to see the video!

    Too bad the video challenge is done already. I have just read this one here and hope there will be another challenge similar to this one in the next few months.

      Thanks for the comment, the video challenge didn’t get off the ground, only had one person submit a video. Hopefully next time there will be a better response.
